AMR Child Care Stipend Program
GMR has published an announcement of the temporary implementation of the Child Care Assistance Program for frontline caregivers and support personnel essential to continuing the operational mission of GMR during the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
This program is designed to financially assist those employees that are impacted by the closures of schools, in the fight against this COVID-19 Pandemic.
Eligible employees who are approved starting with shifts on March 23, the Child Care Assistance stipend shall be $50 per shift worked during a standard school week Monday through Friday.

HR has provided a number of Employee Resources available for our employees to find relief during this COVID-19 Crisis.
These include resources such as:
YMCA Childcare Resource Service:
Specialists assisting employees to search to identify the licensed child care options
Food Service Sites
Updated site that lists Food Service Sites Open During School Closures to assist families with Children
Economic Relief Fund
San Diego United Way has a COVID 19 Community Economic Relief Fund to help with bills, rent and food.
