WHAT ARE THE COST DIFFERENCE BREAKDOWN

With an effort to help everyone understand the costs of our AMR Health Plans, we contacted HR and requested a cost analysis of this years 2019 health plan costs and the open enrollment year costs for upcoming year (2020) that we are currently selecting.

WHAT ARE THE COST DIFFERENCES

ANTHEM and UHC PLAN COSTS

Anthem and United Health Plans costs have stayed the same in 2020.

KAISER PLAN

Kaiser Health Plan has seen some changes in costs:

Gold Plan is down
Silver Plan has seen marginal increases
Bronze and Safety Net Plans have had significant increases

CORPORATE HEALTH CARE PLAN INCREASES IN 2020 MAY EXTEND TO 2021

Corporate health care costs across the nation have gone up almost 6% in 2020 with the possibility of an additional 2% increase with proposed IRS taxes. We can anticipate more under this current plan structure as well.

SDAPP will renegotiate with AMR in 2021 with New Plans Available or with FALCK, if they awarded the contract Before then.

AMR HEALTH PLANS FOR ANTHEM AND UHC HAVE STAYED THE SAME!

For the exception of Kaiser Health Plans, AMR Health Plan costs have not increased in the 2020 year.

HSA Vs FSA ACCOUNT PLANS

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Only the Silver, Bronze and Safety Net Plans allow for (HSA) Health Savings Account.
Only the (HSA) Health Savings Account can role over each year.
